Report to: Service Team Leader


Providing compressed air engineering, field-based services to a vast range of British industry, our company values are to provide outstanding customer service and unrivalled quality of work, delivered in a most efficient manner.

The typical daily tasks of the Service Coordinator are to schedule planned preventative maintenance (PPM) work for our engineers, specifying then quoting technical PPM and remedial works, coordination of engineers between jobs, whilst also covering a range of general service team duties.

Job Description

The main duties and responsibilities expected as Service Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Scheduling of engineers’ work.
  • Utilising our CRM system for a range of service activities to ensure smooth job progression.
  • To prepare and issue formal quotations for PPM and remedial works.
  • To complete a variety of service administration tasks.
  • To answer office telephones, take calls from engineers and customers
  • To troubleshoot technical and coordination obstacles.
  • To meet office KPI’s and targets as set by the Company
  • Updating information on our CRM.
  • Issuing RAMS and health and safety information required for works.

The ideal candidate should be/have:

  • Sufficient experience in a customer and engineer facing role within a service team, also within a technical/engineering industry.
  • Sufficient experience in scheduling workloads for engineers and day-to-day coordination.
  • Sufficient experience in quoting technical works, i.e. remedial and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Demonstrate having working to KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Understanding of basic business processes – quoting, purchase orders, invoicing, etc.
  • Strong team work ethics.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and email, for internal and external communications.
  • Good literacy and customer service-based language skills.
  • Good geographical awareness.
  • Proactive in their approach to learning and development.
  • Strong communicator and an eye for detail.
  • Be able to read the situation around them and when speaking to customers – ‘situational awareness’.
